Imagine, if you will, that two worlds collided: that of Dr. W.E. Deming's famous Red Bead Experiment and the other of the fictional company from the Portal video game, Aperture Laboratories. Further imagine that Dr. Deming hired Aperture's dysfunctional founding CEO, Cave Johnson, to head up the White Bead Corp. in the experiment, and boy was Cave excited to "make science" with some "willing" above-average test subjects. Really let his inner-child loose, you know?
What do you think the failed willing workers might pick up at the company store on the way out after being dismissed for their dysmal performance at being able to sort a paddle of 50 white beads from a bucket containing an 80/20 dispersion of white to red beads? While dodging lasers designed to evaporate the red beads, but the AI targeting system still has some bugs to work out?
We at Digestible Deming Labs are willing to bet it would be a premium super-soft tee commemorating their time at the White Bead Corp. under Cave's steadfast leadership, featuring the company logo and a quote from an inspiring pep talk he gave them on Day 2 of onboarding:
